An improved dispute resolution system is set to commence by early 2019, with the Workers Compensation Legislation Amendment Bill 2018 passed by the NSW Parliament on 17 October 2018.
The package of improvements is designed to prevent disputes by making the system simpler, clearer and more consistent, and streamline claims processes so injured workers can focus on recovery.
